Bed linen is included, bring your own towels. Cleaning, drying the floor and vacuuming are

We do not have broadband/Wifi, but in the main building there is a mobile network where
10 users can connect. There is generally poor reception here in the forest.

“The Workshop”
A workshop cabin where previous owner both welded and processed various metals and wood. Today, after a total transformation, it breathes both exclusivity and coziness.

”The Smithy”
Comes from Oljansgården in Vigge and was moved to Mikaelsro in the 70s. We have
carefully and completely renovated the over a hundred year old smithy and created a cozycabin with lots of character.
Perfect for a family or small group.

”The Little Cottage”

Double room in the big house,
Bed 180X200. Workspace and wardrobe.

”The Owl”
Double/family room in the big house, two 90X200 beds + children bed in a cozy alcove, 80X180.
Perfect for a small family or 2 friends.
Desk with a view of forest and meadow.

area and fireplace.

”FOREST CAMP”
Classic military tent with a fire place with room for 8 people. It is dry, spruce rice on the ground. Bring your own sleeping bag and sleeping mat.
If you have never slept in a military tent, you will receive instructions about “fire guard” from us. Let us know how much help you need when booking. Firewood included.
You can cook your food in our kitchen or on one of our fireplaces. SEK 800 per night.
”Caravan or Mobile Home”
There is room for two mobile homes and two caravans depending on size.
Electricity is available on the farm.
Gray water can be emptied in Svenstavik.
SEK 250 per night.
Simple breakfast is added at
SEK 90 per person.
You are welcome to cook your own food in our kitchen or by our fire and
barbecue area.
Our four-legged friends.
In the main building we have hired 2 cats for food and shelter for
mouse-watching. Dogs are warmly welcome to stay in the detached cottages.
It isimportant that you take responsibility if several guests bring their dogs.
Around the forestaround Mikaelro there are plenty of both wild and domestic animals.
We prefer that all dogs are leashed.
Dog bed, food and water bowls are available to borrow.
A warm welcome to the Yoga Hall
Yoga.
The yoga room is open to everyone who stay at Mikaelsro. At 06.00 – 07.00 it is often completely quiet.
In winter, a fire crackles in here and in summer it is cool and comfortable as it is a good climate in old log houses.
You can also book Anette Tamm who is a yoga and meditation teacher.

In the Yoga room.
There are 10 wool yoga mats, meditation cushions and blankets to borrow.
There are also 8-10 vinyl yoga mats for outdoor use. There is room for 10 yoga mats.

Washing machine is in the bathroom if the big house.
We have free guest parking.

There is a large kitchen in the main building with generous counter space, dishwasher, fridge
and freezer. In the kitchen you can set the table for 8-10 at the regular table. 20-30 at long tables.
The kitchen is well equipped.
If you rent the entire farm or stay overnight in one of our rooms,
self-catering is included and you can cook your own food both inside and outside
over open fires or in grills.
Breakfast is always included when staying in one of the cottages.
All guests are welcome to cook their food over our outdoor fireplaces.
In our blog you can also find tips on different fires, smoking and other exciting adventures by
the fireplaces. We are not authorized to sell food such as meat and fish, but you can buy
what you need at ICA in Svenstavik or in one of the large grocery chains in Östersund.
Thereare also a large number of local producers of meat, fish and dairy products.

Our outdoor fireplaces.
There is room for 20-30 people to sit on logs around the fire.
Our guests can choose from a number of different fireplaces / grills for cooking over an open fire.
Please let us know when booking if you would like to use any of our fireplaces/grills for our planning.

Fireplaces/ indoor heating.
There are three fireplaces in the main building. Two in the kitchen.
A stove that heats the water in all the radiators where we burn regularly during the winter.
A large open traditional fireplace by the dining table and a stove in the Yoga room. This firewood is included.
Instructions and safety around the fire are next to all fireplaces.
There are electric heaters that are used sparingly, hot water heaters and oil-electric heaters in guest rooms and cabins.
FIREWOOD
We charge 50 SEK for normal consumption of firewood when cooking at you stay. Please let us know when booking if you want to cook over an open fire for our planning.
If you want to use coal in one of our grills,
you need to bring it with you.
Larger parties and large wood consumption,
please request a cost proposal.

Kitchen garden and edible wild plants.
Depending on the season there is a large kitchen garden, price by arrangement depending on the amount you want to harvest.
Salad, edible flowers, herbs, berries and vegetables.
Forage wild plants, wild berries and mushrooms in the nature around the farm.
In our blog here on the website, we collect a large number of tips and recipes using both wild and cultivated ingredients.
How you can use the plants as medicine and how they have
been used traditionally in our part of the world.

Hot tub.
It is possible to rent a wood-fired hot tub in wood
with room for 8 people. We use springwater.
1 500 SEK inclusive wood.
NOTE. It takes about 7-9 hours to heat the barrel.
